BACKGROUND OF OUR COALITION

The 710 Freeway Coalition is a grassroots collection of interests united in their desire to see the 710 Freeway completed as soon as possible.

The Coalition was formed in 1993. It unites business groups, labor organizations, cities and minority groups under a common umbrella of action and information. The 710 Freeway Coalition contains over 50 member organizations representing millions of people in Southern California.

Since the founding of the 710 Coalition, the I-710 Gap Closure Project has made significant progress, despite the freeway opponents’ attempts to slow the project.
